Google Adds Domain Change Tool
Moving to a new domain name is a major worry for webmasters as there is a risk of losing search rankings in Google.
The new Google tool allows you to verify two domains in Google Webmaster Tools and then tell Google that one verified domain is moving to another verified domain.
One thing the tool won’t do is let you change the domain after you loose control of it, a common and frustrating occurrence.
